Hope

There are so many descriptions of "Hope" by various writers
and philosophers that are interesting and deep; the following
description by Samuel Smiles is wonderful and unique; he
resembled hope to the sun and said "Hope is like the sun,
which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow
of our burden behind us."

Nature

When Balzac was asked to define the art; he replied:
"Art is Nature concentrated". Rembrandt always emphasized
that we should choose only one master and that is Nature.
The closer we get to the Nature, the sharper our senses
will be. We should nurture our love for Nature. The purifying
intelligence and beauty of Nature helps us in our journey to
the perfection. Nature restores its voices in our thought and
in our soul. Modern life cannot be an excuse for the disconnection.
Even the presence of one flower in our room can reconnect us
to the Nature.

Optimists and Pessimists

Some people are optimists and some are pessimists,
and interestingly there are people who are optimists
in the morning and pessimists at night. As Levinson
said a pessimist sees only the dark sides of the clouds,
and mops; a philosopher sees both sides, and shrugs;
and an optimist doesn't see the clouds at all- he is
walking on them!
