I wish you all the best, happiest, healthiest and the most fulfilling and rewarding year that you ever had in your life. Also I wish peace, harmony and understanding for the world that we all live in it.
Today is the first day of the rest of my life; leaving england and moving to the US; I am so happy because after a long long time I feel I have my life in my hand; I can dream and plan for my future; it is not easy but I love it; I like to share my happiness with you by writting a joke that I have recently heard and made me laugh deeply; I hope it brings a smile in your face.
"A woman had gone through therapy with the same therapist for 10 years; on her last day, she praises her therapist by telling him how much he has transformed her life, how complete he has made her feel. She says to him:"But, doctor, in all these years, you have not said one word; please, doctor, tell me something, just one word." and she insists please, please,...The doctor looks at her and says: "No hablo ingles!" "
Life and hope are almost inseparable; and no doubt we do need hope to live. Sometimes a new window is opened at exactly the right time that is most needed by us and it happens so smooth and pleasantly unexpected without hurting us in such a way that leads to a lasting positive impression on us. Everything passes and just the memories remain for ever ; either negative or positive memory and nothing can change them.
There is a beautiful seaside town that you cannot find a single bookshop! but there are at least 12 tattoo shops!! First I was shocked and then I realised that it is the matter of demand and supply. The beautiful beach is almost deserted; you must have soul to enjoy the beauty of nature and you need mind to enjoy the culture.
Nothing can boost your energy and spirit like an unexpectedly good news. While body, mind and soul suffer the most from unexpectedly bad news; the element of unexpectedness intensifies the impressions either in positive or negative way.
It is good to be able to keep calm and to realise that when one door is closed, eventually another door is opened. Over excitement clouds the reason and leads to hasty decisions and finally result in stupid actions.
Do not hurt anyone and do not get hurt; this is the basic of all ethics and there is no other main sin if you are religious or wrong if you believe in principles or whatever you like to call it; as simple as that. But sometimes even for decent people is not understandable; I know some highly educated people from a good family that call it unethical if for example you pick a single flower from a garden that does not belong to you but themselves have done unbelievable shameful acts such as disrespecting their parents; planning the inheritance while their parents are on the hospital bed; disrespecting their own mother during her funeral by breaking into room of their sister and stealing money and documents!! and worse exhibiting her bank statement during the ceremony!!!!! just because their mother felt it was unfair the sons receive all the favours such as studying abroad, wedding expenses, cars and expensive jewellery while they had never been grateful and gave her daughter who cared for her parents and lived with them, some part of her own house. And this is a fact that when masks drop, people may behave in such a way that it is both shocking and unbelievable.
Last week I was on a train and a couple with a small girl were sitting next to me. Suddenly the girl turned to the man and yelled: "You are Scottish, we are English; you were born in Scotland, I was born in England, mummy was born in England." She repeated these sentences nearly ten times and each time with more bitter tone. I looked at that woman; she had a big stupid grin on her face and seemed very triumphant! and then I looked at that man, he seemed very embarrassed with his head down!! I was sure that small girl did not know what she was saying and just was immitating her mummy like a parrot. They left the next stop and I was thinking that stupidity has no boundaries! That idiot woman thought that she was superior to his partner because of her place of birth!! Unfortunately it has some deep root in the society and those ignorants that think this way are not few.
I miss you my beloved mother; I miss your beautiful and sincere smile, your presence, your wit, your dignity, your charming talk, your strength of character...miss you...you taught me to be strong and hopeful, to be true to myself and others...I am always grateful for all that you gave me and will be forever...rest in peace...
Most of us have experienced to be in a room with too much furniture; sometimes it is suffocating, we may feel that it is hard to breath, to think, or to live in this circumstance; some people may like it, but when we are indoor it will be relaxing if we are surrounded by a type of design that is both chic and simple.
Two years ago I posted this picture on this blog and recently I saw a more or less similar thing, but it was too late to capture the moment. When the child passes the sign, it will be a different story and does not have the same effect. Exactly in life, some actions must be done at the proper moment, when the moment passes we cannot expect the same impression.
This picture reminds me of searching for something that we think is far away from us, but in fact it is very close at hand; just we fail to notice it and sometimes when we loose it, is the moment we realise that it had been there very close by.
Just right now, this moment that I am typing these words, is the first moment of the rest of my life; it could be wonderful without regretting for the past or worrying for the future; the present is in our hands, do not ruin it.
It is a good idea that sometimes we wash our eyes and look at things with fresh eyes; sometimes it will have amazing result : we will be able to see things differently from different angles and may be from different point of view!
Spending some time outdoor and being close to nature is a must; instead of spending most of our time indoor and staring at TV, it feels good to go outside and watch the sky, clouds, trees and birds; listen to the singing birds; if possible jogging along the beach and if none of them is possible, we can keep a flower in the kitchen and watch its growth.
Today is the first day of spring; it is the time of growth, renewal of the nature and new life; it is also used as a metaphor for the start of better times. It is the beginning of new year, Norouz, in the Persian calendar. It has been celebrated for thousands of years especially by Persian king, Cyrus. It is a good time to cherish Cyrus Cylinder, the first charter of human rights; it can also be symbol of freedom of opinions and peace.
A doctor and his friend who was a lawyer were at a reception and some people were coming to the doctor for the medical advice; the lawyer advised his friend to avoid free advice and send them a bill in the mail; the doctor was pleased for the good solution by his friend. The next day the doctor was surprised to receive a letter from the lawyer, and when he opened it he was even more surprised...it was a bill!
